The Council of African Professionals (CAP) is the expansive evolution of the Council of Nigerian Professionals (CNP). Building on eight years of impactful service, mentorship, and community engagement, we have broadened our mandate to reflect the full diversity of the African experience.


What began as a platform for Nigerian professionals has grown into a unified hub for all African identities. We believe that our communities thrive most when we work together, not in silos. By connecting talent across borders, we are building a stronger, more resilient African diaspora.

HRH Adejisola Atiba (Lady ABHA), C.Dir.

Founder & Executive Lead

A visionary community builder with over 30 years in the financial sector. Adejisola founded CNP and CAP to foster leadership excellence. She holds a Chartered Director designation and an EMBA in Digital Transformation.

Derrick Amo Anim, CB

Vice President, Finance

A Chartered Banker and inclusive finance leader. As Entrepreneurship Relationship Manager at FACE, Derrick strengthens Black-owned business sustainability across Canada.

Dr. Ebere Morgan

Board Director

President of Deztiny Strategies Inc., Dr. Morgan holds a Ph.D. in Leadership & Strategic Change, bringing intellectual horsepower to governance and policy creation.

Olugbenga Fakoyejo

VP, Western Canada

A Chartered Banker and Economist with 20 years of global experience. Olugbenga specializes in corporate finance, ESG, and financial literacy.

Efuange Khumbah, P.Eng.

VP, Ontario

A licensed Environmental Engineer and founder of Perspective Nation. Efuange has managed critical environmental projects for public and private sectors across Canada.
